About Jessica

Jessica started hairdressing in 1995 when she was only 16 years old and by 1998 she was completely qualified. Jessica then went on to complete a make-up artistry course in 1999 and started working in the photographic industry as a Make-up Artist working freelance from 2000 - Present.

During the course of Jessica's make-up career she has worked in all areas of make-up including Theatre, TV, Hey Hey it's Saturday, Editorial, MTV Awards, Teaching, Weddings and Music Videos. Jessica was a freelance make-up artist for SBS TV for 2 years and worked at the first MTV Music Video Awards in 2005 doing make-up on Missy Higgins and Chingy. Jessica did make-up and hair on Kyle Sandilands along with many other Australian celebrities on the awards night. She did make-up for South African actress Rosie Motene. Her make-up work has appeared in both "In Style" Magazine and South African "Elle" Magazine. She has also added High Definition Airbrushing to her repertoire.

From 2000 onwards, Jessica has run her own freelance business doing make-up and hair for weddings and other special events. In addition to freelancing and running her own business, Jessica does private lessons in make-up and hair. After completing a Certificate 4 in Workplace Training and Assessment in 2004, Jessica taught make-up at privately owned schools covering the following skills;

Jessica worked in London where she did make-up for London's largest dance studio in Covent Garden "Pineapple Studio". Whilst in London, she was signed up by 2 make-up agencies. Jessica Freelanced as a Make-up Artist & Hairdresser for Channel 10 from September 2009 - February 2011
